Single tube inverter is a device for motor speed regulation with single power tube, which is widely used in industrial fields.
Structural Features
Single tube inverters adopt discrete IGBT tubes to replace packaged integrated IGBT modules. For a typical single tube IGBT inverter, three groups of discrete IGBT tubes connected in parallel in the same direction are welded on the PCB board. Thermal conductive silicone grease is evenly coated on the other end of discrete IGBT tubes which are fixed on the radiator. Such structure cuts overall cost and facilitates replacement when single IGBT tube breaks down. The inverter also consists of shell power board main control board base rectifier components DC cooling fan and other parts. Independent radiator design upgrades heat dissipation efficiency and extends service life.
Working Principle
The working principle of single tube inverters is similar to general inverters. The rectifier circuit converts alternating current into direct current at first. Under the control of control circuit, discrete IGBT tubes inside the inverter circuit adopt high frequency switching technology to convert direct current into alternating current with adjustable frequency and voltage for motor power supply so as to realize motor speed regulation. The control circuit precisely controls the on off time of discrete IGBT tubes according to set parameters and feedback signals to complete frequency conversion and power adjustment.
